1. 3A Molecular Sieve, is an alkali metal alumina silicate. It is the potassium form of the type A crystal structure.It has an effective pore opening of about 3 angstroms(0.3nm). This is large enough to allow in moisture, but excludes molecules such as unsaturated hydrocarbons which can potentially form polymers.

Regeneration

Removal of water: dry gas such as nitrogen, air, hydrogen, saturated hydrocarbon, etc. can be used to heat to 150-320℃ and pass into the molecular sieve bed under 0.3-0.5kg/m2 pressure for 3-4 hours, and then to the adsorber Pass in dry cold air for about 2-3 hours, isolate the air and cool to room temperature.

Removal of organic matter: the adsorbate can be replaced from the molecular sieve with water vapor, and then heated to (1). The regeneration can also be regenerated by superheated steam or inert gas at 200-350℃. Exposure to gases that produce explosive mixtures).
